About The X

107.1 The X is an outreach ministry of Reign Radio Ministries, whose mission is simple: Make the unknown God known, through a wide range of popular music broadcast on radio and streaming media.

In math the letter ‘x’ is used to represent an unknown.

In the Greek, ‘X’ comes from the letter Chi, which is the first letter of the Greek word Christós (Greek: Χριστός), which became Christ in English.

X represents an unknown, and also represents Christ.

In the book of Acts, Paul at the sermon on Mars Hills addresses the people: “Men of Athens, I observe that you are very religious in all respects. For while I was passing through and examining the objects of your worship, I also found an altar with this inscription, ‘TO AN UNKNOWN GOD.’ Therefore what you worship in ignorance, this I proclaim to you.”

We break down barriers with music, while playing encouraging music we are also proclaiming the message of life-changing hope, found only in our Savior.
